I am an evolutionary cognitive psychologist by day, and a science connoisseur by night (except on Fridays).  On Saturdays you can find me cheering for my Alma maters, Oklahoma State and Kansas State.  I also enjoy listening to music and public radio, and spending time with my family.

Research Interests

Risk-sensitive foraging, statistical reasoning, numerical literacy, fast-and-frugal heuristics

Current Projects

-Improving medical decision making through the use of natural frequencies

-Constructing a better scale to measure numerical literacy

-Using foraging theory to predict three-point attempts in basketball
